[ he does feel alone a lot, especially lately. he tries with the Titans but he still feels out of place here. he tried with Barry but he thought it wasn't working. he knows better now, and laying here with him now, he doesn't feel alone at all. ]

[Jason scoots down closer to Barry so they're completely face to face now, and he slides his hand down the other's face, thumb running back and forth across his lower lip.]

[ For that, he's grateful, and he shows that with the quiet little hum there on his lips as he leans in to nose at Jason's cheek with being so much closer now. ]

[ He murmurs, letting his eyes fall shut again as he nuzzles at the other's face, getting himself comfortable against Jason. ]
[ he feels so stupid now, for jumping to conclusions, for letting himself get so hurt. it all feels like so much sometimes, but now that they're together again he feels the truth of it.
he nuzzles back softly, then finds Barry's lips and kisses him again, slow and soft, letting his lips linger.]

[and maybe with Jason being in Central City with Barry, things can slow down for him a little. maybe not all the way, but Jason can do whatever he can to help.]

So he does as the other asks โ settles in with a quiet sigh, head nuzzling at Jason's shoulder and he relaxes, best he can, not letting those thoughts claim him in a whirlwind of anxiety he can barely ignore. ]

[ Jason hopes that if he holds Barry tight enough, long enough, maybe those whirlwind thoughts will stay away for long enough. at least long enough for a night of sleep.
