[ By asking, he's hoping it's not anything that's going to sour this lighthearted mood they have going on right now between them in this stolen borrowed car. But he knows it had been a difficult thing for him at first โ how Jason hadn't wanted it and felt betray, in a sense, with being shipped off with Dick and the others.
Thankfully, at least, with how fast Barry is, any amount of distance between them is never really All That Much. It's just more a matter of needing time for it. Something which he can't always find enough of for himself, it seems. ]

the mood doesn't sour at Barry's question, mostly cause Jason doesn't want to let anything fuck up this time they have together. even with how fast Barry is, they've both been busy and it's been kinda rough. ]
It's alright. Dick has us training basically day and night as if some kinda fucking apocalypse is headed our way. I'm like bro, we just fought the last one, I think we're cool for a while. But who knows, I guess.
