Name: Barry Allen Door: door pass! ( here) Canon: DCEU (if it's ok, i would prefer to have him come from the snyder cut of justice league as barry is given more development/importance and not used as strictly comic relief as he's made to be in the joss whedon version. if this is not ok, please let me know and i'll go with the whedon version)Canon Point: right as he pushes Cyborg into the Mother Box Age: 25 Appearance: boopHistory: second boopPersonality: โก POSITIVE โ determined to do the right thing. As the shining flash of hope within the League, Barry both longs and aims to do the right thing in his life and for those around him. Ok, so he's probably the newest kid on the block when it comes to the superhero/metahuman life, but. With great power comes great responsibility? Wrong franchise but same sentiment. With personal idols in his life like Batman and Superman, Barry does whatever he can to support and help both those in need and those he cares for. Sometimes it's "small things" like saving Iris from a car crash or stopping a thief from robbing a store with the old heave ho method. Other times, it's more personal like refusing to give up on proving the innocence of his father behind bars despite so many others not believing him. Then there are the bigger moments in his life, like eagerly joining up with Batman and his team or breaking that one rule of his to not go faster then the speed of light and reverse time to bring back his fallen comrades and give them another chance at the fight. No matter the size of the issue or whoever someone might or might not be to him, Barry strives to be something for someone(s) in whatever way he can and with being the fastest man alive, there's not much that's going to stop him from doing so.
โ๏ธ NEGATIVE โ insecure of his place and importance (to others). The strongest of the negative traits, Barry has a penchant for second-guessing himself and his worth or importance when it comes to being a part of the League. Or, you know, just around other superpowered individuals. He is not the guy who is showing up and showing off with how cool or tough he is. He doesn't even have a name for himself yet because, in his eyes? He's not a superhero. A superhero is someone like Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman. All capable fighters and warriors which are two things he is not. He's "an accident" as he jokingly refers to himself as to Victor in how he got his super powers and in thinking that way, it often doesn't help with thinking too highly of his worth or importance when surrounded by others who are much more Good At This and capable than him. Because, ok, he's fast. But Superman could punch his face in if he wanted. So could Wonder Woman. He just does the whole push and run thing while trying to not trip over his own feet. It doesn't help that this sometimes manifests in him doubting his own abilities such as when he suggested jumpstarting the Mother Box to revive Superman. Sure, he suggested it, but it was done with a lot of uncertainty with whether or not he could do it and if he couldn't, talk about a waste of an idea.
โ impatient with the world around him. When one is as fast as Barry Allen, everyone else around you just seems so slow and this sometimes aggravates the speedster to the point where he almost wants to rip his hair out. It's like being stuck behind that person on an escalator who's standing there and taking up the entire thing when all you want to do is pass them and catch your train but you can't. Barry, unfortunately, often feels like this with others. Telling people to hurry it up when trying to evacuate them, suggesting to Victor they could easily dig Clark up in a nanosecond if left up to him, or endlessly explaining his frustration with being late because of a lady who took forever on a bus to pay because she had to count out all her change and why didn't he just run here instead, Barry gets impatient often and it just sometimes gets on his last nerve. There's also the whole finding people slow even with their thoughts as he's able to process things and jump from topic to topic much quicker than practically everyone else around him, so. That's also a little... annoying to him and why he comes off as being a little distracted sometimes. He's not. You're just slower than him, ok?
โ detached from others and peers. Despite his often cheery and friendly approach with others, Barry has a penchant of closing himself off from others and being that of a drifter. He is not the guy who is going out to bars every Friday night and having A Good Time. No siree bob. He is absolutely staying in and keeping to himself in whatever way that might be on that given day or night. You could say he's a bit of a loner but, given his tragic childhood of losing his mother and his father being accused of her murder (which Barry maintains and fights to prove his father is innocent), keeping to himself is just something that sort of became natural to him. So much to the point where he even admits to Bruce Wayne that he does, in fact, need friends. Or at least people who might be able to relate to him a little better. His being so detached from others can often manifest in his not only falling quiet at times when around others (or his insecurity is ramping up) but his sometimes coming off as awkward with his not knowing what to say or do in a particular moment. Denied fist bumps with Victor being one of those ok, never mind moments but, hey. At least he tries sometimes?
Powers and Abilities: Basically, Barry possesses superhuman speed but with that comes an umbrella of other things. โ accelerated metabolism/healing factor; being as fast as he is, his speed extends to him on a biological level as well and, thus, makes him have a much faster metabolism than a human which includes his being able to heal injuries in a matter of a minutes depending on severity. โ superhuman reflexes/agility; barry's able to not only move but react much faster than a human can. this is due to his being able to "stop and pause" in a sense and perceive the world around him in his own sort of slow motion. even so, he still has the penchant for being clumsy and tripping over himself or being tripped up. โ superhuman stamina; it basically takes A LOT to tire him out. wink wonk. โ electricity generation; with being as fast as he is, barry's able to generate bolts of electricity which can cause nearby technology to short-circuit or overload. โ time travel/time regression; barry can "run fast enough to break through the fabric of the space-time continuum, enabling him to travel forward or back in time" while also being able to rewind time though he's shown to do this for no more than a handful of seconds both times.
โก in terms of time travel/time regression i'm fine with nerfing this or only letting him access this for some sort of player/mod plot if it's needed or with an ok for it. barry has a rule with himself to not do this as it is so it's not something he does very often, only when circumstances are dire.
also for electricity generation, he won't be short-circuiting any (plot??) tech in the city/on the island unless he has mod go-ahead for being able to do so. Inventory: โ batarang given to him by bruce wayne โ large bag of jellybeans โ family photograph
